September 2013. Brooklyn. Nashville. LA.
Modelled after the larger, three day What If Conferences, the What If DayCamps are a super charged boost of inspiration and motivation—a power packed kick in the pants for attendees who are ready to take their business (and life) by storm.
Day Camps are all about providing you practical tools to help you get from where you are now to where you truly want to be. This is actionable, applicable education – you will leave camp with tools you can use to get things done.
Learn more about how and whyWhat If began here.
WHAT TO EXPECT: We have a full day organized for you. Your morning begins with a reality check where your excuses are addressed head on. We will discover what is really in your way (and what you think is in your way) and how to get past what is stopping you.
After the lunch break, we get right back to it. Splitting into smaller groups our afternoon sessions will empower you and give you the tools you need to finish what you’ve started, or to start what you’ve been dreaming of. You will have a small group session with each of the Camp Leaders to ensure your ideas and dreams are given the attention they need and deserve.
CAMP LEADERS: Our Camp Leaders are also three of our most popular What If Innovators. These three have created a dynamic program filled with practical how-tos and motivational must haves. Head over to the Camp Leaders page for more details on these ladies.
Each camp will also feature a surprise guest. We’ll have more on your final camp counsellor as we get closer to DayCamp!

Before launching Platform Artist Management in 2001 Darren Tyler was an agent at Vanguard Entertainment and then William Morris Agency. He had the good fortune of working alongside and guiding the careers of Jars of Clay, Third Day, Kutless and many others in his 18 year career. In 2007 He began asking himself what if. What if He used his talent and creativity that had made him successful at guiding successful music careers and aimed that at solving the problems like extreme poverty. That question began simply enough and 3 years later resulted in him walking away from his successful management firm and walking headlong into the risk, adventure and rewards of living life that answers the what if question with what is. The answer to that question is Conduit Mission. Conduit exists to be a pipeline of resources, talent and assistance from places with plenty to places in the greatest need. To date $1.5M in cash as and in kind donations have been changing the lives of children in Haiti, Togo Africa, India, and many other places around the world.
Hi. I'm Dane. I've been photographing professionally for just over a decade, focusing on destination weddings, portraiture & lifestyle photography. In other words... the people and moments that matter most in our lives. My work has been featured in publications including Rangefinder, Professional Photographer, Grace Ormonde Wedding Style, You & Your Wedding (UK), Shutterbug & Photojojo. Readers of Photo District News named me one of the 30 most influential living photographers of the last decade - a crazy assertion but still very affirming.

I've authored two business books for creatives - both published by Penguin Random House - as well as a number of other resources for photographers. I founded Fast Track Creative, home of the Better Together community of photographers. I also podcast regularly about the convergence of business & creativity with some pretty incredible thought leaders. I've taught at Brooks Institute, PPE, WPPI, iUSA, SXSW as well as international events throughout North and South America, Europe and Asia. My family & I make our home in Newport Beach, California.
